2026 Shanghai International Textile Color and New Materials Technology Forum
On July 16-17, 2026, the 2026 Shanghai International Textile Color and New Materials Technology Forum was grandly held in the First Lecture Hall of the Graphic Information Center of Donghua University's Songjiang Campus. This forum was jointly organized by the Viiiage of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering of Donghua University, the National Textile Dyeing and Finishing Technology Engineering Research Center, and the Key Laboratory of Green Low-Carbon Textile Printing and Dyeing Technology of the Ministry of Education. It was also co-organized by the YP Color Research Center of Donghua University. Industry experts, university scholars, and technical personnel from enterprises in the fields of textiles, chemicals, and new materials gathered to jointly explore new paths for textile color innovation, functional new material research and development, and the development of the green and low-carbon industry.
Ma Zhengsheng, the general manager of Shanghai Jiecon Chemicals Hi-Tech Co., Ltd., the vice president of Shanghai New Materials Association, and a professor at Donghua University, attended this forum as a special guest and delivered a deep industry-themed presentation. Based on his 30 years of research and development experience in functional additives and functional fibers, he dissected the current pain points in the textile new materials market, as well as the breakthroughs in high-performance functional materials technology and the direction of industrial upgrading.

In this speech, Dr. Ma Zhengsheng used the air purifier filter as a typical example to explain the "performance maximization" research logic. He detailed the company's technical path of relying on functional additives for scientific compound formulation to achieve a leap in filter performance from the traditional "four protections" to the high-end "five protections", making it meet the dual demands of the high-end market for quality and safety.
