1. Twenty years of deep engagement in the textile industry, integrating the entire industrial chain 

On June 30, the 37th iFashion Donghua Fashion MBA Salon was successfully held at Xuri Building, Yan'an Road Campus of Donghua University. Dr. Ma Zhengsheng, General Manager and Senior Engineer at Shanghai Jiecon Chemicals Hi-Tech, was invited as a keynote speaker to deliver an in-depth presentation titled "Diverse Solutions for New Textile Materials—From Functional Additives to Fiber and Yarn Development: Exploring the Boundless Possibilities of Material Science." The session offered valuable insights to Donghua MBA faculty, students, and industry alumni, bridging academia, research, and industry across the entire chemical fiber value chain. 

2. Interpreting New Material Trends and Addressing Industry Pain Points 

This presentation, grounded in China's national new materials strategy and the 2026/2027 Chinese fiber trend forecast, breaks down four cutting-edge fiber directions: green circularity, comfort evolution, health protection, and high performance. It provides in-depth insights into four downstream application scenarios—home textiles, sportswear, commuting apparel, and sustainability—and introduces core technologies such as electron beam radiation grafting, a comprehensive range of functional additives, and practical patented solutions including anti-mite antibacterial and visible light photocatalysis. Addressing industry over-competition and conceptual hype, it draws on judicial counterfeit cases to call for a return to rigorous material innovation. Four real-world case studies offer valuable references for academic-industrial research translation to faculty and students present. 

 3. Exchange and Strike, Exploring the New Future of the Industry Together 
 

 The event concluded with lively on-site interaction, as participants engaged in in-depth discussions on topics such as the commercialization of new materials and the development of multifunctional fabrics.
